Annual Conference and Exhibitors Forum

The LeadingAge Wisconsin Annual Conference and Exhibitors Forum is one of the largest educational events available in Wisconsin for aging services professionals. Typically well over 600 professionals attend this event. It includes more than 100 vendor exhibits.

Pre-Conference Seminars

Leading Age Wisconsin hosts pre-conference educational seminars on the day before a major conference. These pre-conference seminars address timely topics, current concerns, future trends, new ideas, innovative programs and creative solutions. The seminar format allows more time for in-depth exploration and peer-to-peer discussions.

Day at the Capitol

Through our biennial Day at the Capitol, LeadingAge Wisconsin comes together with professionals at many different levels to identify, discuss and analyze public policy initiatives at both the state and national level. During Day at the Capitol, we introduce new initiatives and teach new strategies that position you and your organization for success. This forum provides up-to-date information on the issues that impact you, then offers time to discuss the initiatives you and LeadingAge Wisconsin will take to continue leading the way for aging services. Participants of this forum frequently walk across the street to the Capitol to visit their state legislators, talk about new and pending policy initiatives and to advocate for fair funding of aging services in the state budget.

Reimbursement Seminars

As Medicaid reimbursement evolves each year, is your nursing home prepared to make the changes needed to receive the reimbursement you deserve? Each year, LeadingAge Wisconsin hosts a reimbursement seminar to help you maximize your Medicaid rates. The seminar enhances your understanding of the ongoing changes to the Medicaid reimbursement formula and addresses other issues that have a bearing on a facility's reimbursement.

Webinars

Members may need immediate access to education and training on issues that can arise quickly in the long-term care and assisted living environment. LeadingAge Wisconsin is well positioned to deliver timely, high-quality educational programs. We ensure members have the information they need when they need it. As technology continues to change the way we live and learn, senior service professionals cannot always leave the workplace to access quality education. LeadingAge Wisconsin addresses this need through innovative technology-based learning opportunities, from standalone webinars to multi-session series. We offer high-quality training on topics ranging from regulatory and legal issues to quality improvement and workforce trends.
